A NEW 8-PERIOD DAY schedule is in effect. This school year, the REGULAR DAY for all students consists of 8 periods. Students may enroll in a maximum of seven (7) courses during each semester. If an Early or Late Bird class is taken, students may enroll in a maximum of eight (8) subjects during each semester. Students must enroll in six (6) subjects in at least four (4) of the eight (8) semesters to meet their 22-credit requirement for graduation.

Each student's academic schedule should emphasize enrollment in core subjects, that is, courses in English, mathematics, science, social studies, reading, and world languages. Students must enroll in a minimum of four (4) core subjects each semester.
